This tunnel is a one car at a time no matter which way you are going. You have to honk before you drive through it. It is on Needles highway (highway 87); it provides a scenic view of the most rugged real estate in the park.
This next postcard is of Pigtail Bridge on the Iron Mountain Road. Iron Mountain Road, with its Pigtail Bridges and multiple tunnels, was engineered to give its visitors a 360 degree panorama of the Black Hills with Mount Rushmore framed in the tunnels.
