The big 5 of Tanzania

This card was brought back as a souvenir for me from my mom's cousin. She went on a church mission trip there, and only brought back souvenirs for 4 people. I was lucky enough to be one of them :)

Gut River

This is my 2nd card from Jamaica. My coworker had brought it back for me from a trip he was on. I was very excited :)

This underground river (Gut River) flows close to the sea between Canoe Valley and Alligator Pond springing with clean blue waters not far from Milk River. Gut is German for good.

Ethiopia

I had forgotten that I had a card from Ethiopia when I requested this one, but was still really happy with this one. I got it through a direct swap with someone on FB. It depicts a street market in Ethiopia.

Vietnam

This was my first card from Vietnam. It made me super excited :) I love getting cards from new countries.

The Hau Giang river flows serenely alongside Can Tho city.

Yemen

This is my first card from Yemen. I was very excited to be able to swap for this via FB.

These postcards all came from a direct swap with someone from Bath, Pennsylvania on FB.

Devil's Den is located inside the Gettysburg National Battlefield and was a site of battel between the Union and Confederate armies.

Bushkill Falls "The Niagara of Pennsylvania"
Located in the beautiful Pocono Mountains, Bushkill Falls is one of the major tourist attractions of the East. Marked nature trails lead to 8 waterfalls and gorges. Route 209, Bushkill, PA.

Located at the end of the Erie Harbor Channel in Presque Isle State Park, North Pier Lighthouse has been in use since 1858.

Acadia National Park

This postcard was from a direct swap via FB. It depicts Thunder Hole in Acadia National Park.

Statue of Liberty

The famous 152 ft. copper statue bearing the torch of freedom, was a gift of the French people in 1886, to commemorate the alliance of the two nations in the American Revolution.

Sipadan Island

The front of the card states: "Sipadan Island is the only oceanic island located in the Celebes Sea east of Tawau, Malaysia; rising 600 meters from the seabed. It is in the heart of Indo-Pacific basin, the center of the world's richest marine habitats."

Maud Hart Lovelace in Mankato

This card above depicts Mankato High School. "Deep Valley High School". Located on the corner of Fifth and Hickory Streets. Maud Hart and Frances 'Bick' Kenney graduated from this school in 1910. Fire destroyed the building in 1941. Circa 1910

This card above depicts Betsy's House. 333 Center Street, Mankato Minnesota. The childhood home of Maud Hart Lovelace, author of the Betsy-Tacy books and fictional character of "Betsy".

This card above depicts Tacy's House. 332 Center Street, Mankato, Minnesota. The childhood home of Frances 'Bick' Kenney, fictional character of "Tacy" in the Betsy-Tacy books.
