Touristy postcards that show me your country, or city, or something significant about where you live are my favorite. If you would like one back, email me your address and I will be glad to send you from Minnesota USA as well.

Oman

This postcard was received through a direct swap on Facebook. It depicts Sur Harbor Lighthouse in Oman.

Hong Kong

I received some really cool postcards from Hong Kong a few weeks ago.

This first one is of West Central at Sunset: The protrubing roof of the spectacular Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre forms the foreground to a dramatic sunset over the Central business district, which is dominated by the 88 story Two International Finance Centre building. It is 418 mtrs (1362 ft) high ans was completed in 2003. It is one of the few buildings in the world equipped with double-deck elevators.

This next card is of people sitting on a bench and a street view.

This next one is of Disney's Hollywood Hotel in Hong Kong. It's an art deco inspired hotel, reflecting the best of Hollywood with Disney touches throughout.

China

I have received many goodies from China in the last few weeks.

This first card is of The Tian'anmen Gate during the Beijing 2008 Paralympic Games.

This next card is of The National Stadium, or the "Bird's Nest" as it was nicknamed during the Beijing 2008 Olympics.

This next card was a movie card from The Smurfs movie in 3D.

This next card was a surprise one that the sender sent me. It is from some Hello Kitty Expo thing.

The sender also sent me some little cut out things that I thought were kind of cool.

Serbia

I received this postcard through a direct swap on Facebook. The postcard is of The National Theatre and Monument ot Prince Mihailo in Belgrade, which is the capitol of Serbia.

"The building of the National Theatre built in the manner similar to the European building of that time, especially the Scala in Milan, from which the Renaissance conception and decorations were taken. It was opened on October 30th, 1869. The monument to Prince Mihailo is dedicated to Prince Mihailo Obrenovic III, the liberator of Serbia from the Turks in 1867. It was unveiled in 1882."

Cyprus

I received this postcard through a direct swap on Facebook. It is my first card from Cyprus.

Venezuela

This postcard depicts something of interest inside of a national park in Venezuela.

Croatia

Sorry I have been slacking so much on updating this thing. I have been overwhelmed by postcards lately, and have now decided the only way to not be so overwhelmed is to get some more uploaded onto here. ;]

These two were received a while ago, and arrived on the same day.
