This next one of The Nathan Hale Homestead in Coventry. Nathan Hale 1755-1776 state hero, was born in Coventry and educated at Yale University. In September 1776, at General Washington's request, he crossed enemy lines to gather information as to the strength and plans of the British. The patriot spy was caught and before his death declared, "I only regret that I have but one life to lose for my country".
