Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, Colorado
This is Stanley Hotel in Colorado. It is a super cool hotel that offers ghost tours (I personally have done one of these), and Steven King's book "The Shining" was written here.
Sites in Colorado
These postcards show the various sites around Colorado.
This postcard is of the place where we stayed in the first time I went to Colorado- Pine Haven Cottages
This postcard is of the place where we stayed in the first time I went to Colorado- Pine Haven Cottages
This next postcard is the place where we stayed the second time we went to Colorado-Blackhawk Lodges
This next postcard is of the Alpine Vistor Center.
It can be reached by this road, which can only be taken to get there, not taken to get home. This road is gravel, and has very sharp turns and no rails. It was very very scary to sit by the window.
This road can be taken to get there or to go home. This road is paved and not scary.
This tram is taken to the top of Chipmunk Hill, where you can buy peanuts to feed the Chipmunks. So fun!
This was a very cool little chapel.
The next two postcards of the the Pewter Store, which was a pretty cool place.
The next postcard was one I got from the Indian Store Allenspark, Colorado.
This next postcard is one that I got at the Dam Store in Loveland, Colorado.
The next ones are just random scenic ones that I had gotten.
Mountains in Colorado
These are the cards of the mountains in Colorado that I have.

These next 2 postcards were ones that my boyfriend brought me from his trip to Colorado in 2008.

Animal Cards- Colorado
This post will be just about the animal postcards that I have in my collection from Colorado.

This was a card that I had received from a friend in Colorado, as were the two underneath this one.
This is one of the cards I sent my parents while on one of my trips.

Colorado
I have been to Colorado twice in my life; once in the summer between 8th and 9th grade (2003), and once in the summer between 9th and 10th (2004). Because I went twice and have spent a combined total of about in month in the state, I have lots and lots of postcards. I will post them in a few different posts so that I do not have 1 giant post.
