Touristy postcards that show me your country, or city, or something significant about where you live are my favorite. If you would like one back, email me your address and I will be glad to send you from Minnesota USA as well.

Mall of America

All of these postcards come from a postcard pack sold by Mall of America back in 1997. The mall has definitely changed since these postcards were made.

Possibly the most photographed sign in the world! Mall of America is your destination for family fun and entertainment. Visit one of the over 525 retail stores, enjoy a relaxing meal at one of 40 food establishments, take in a movie at the 14-screen theater, or take in a round of miniature gold at Golf Mountain.

It's easy to find fun at Mall of America-just head to the Rotunda, the 5,000 square-foot centerpiece where the action takes place. Mall of America is the largest fully enclosed retail and family entertainment complex in the United States. Visit over 525 stores, 40 food establishments, a 7-acre Theme Park, 14-screen theater, LEGO Imagination Center and the new Underwater World Aquarium.

Mall of America is big enough to hold 32 Boeing 747's and more than 20 of Rome's St. Peter's Basilica. Mall of America's Theme Park is a national wonderland that boasts 30,000 live plants, trees, waterfalls, lakes and brooks. Mall of America is the place for fun in your life!

Kids can build to their heart's content at LEGO Imagination Center with LEGO bricks and Duplo blocks in this one-of-a-kind showplace. When you've completed building your dream castle, relax and visit the 14-screen movie theater and take in a show!

Spend a pleasant afternoon in North Garden. A serpentine-shaped street winds its way through the inviting lush landscape. Many unique shops dot this avenue with an enormous food court and Golf Mountain miniature gold course anchoring its center.

The American flag flies proudly at the Rodney Putz Memorial Garden in honor of the man behind the vision of Mall of America.

North Garden- Gazebos, trellises and skylights with lush landscaping create a park-like setting. North Garden receives a seasonal landscape change 13 times a year.

West Market- Reminiscent of  a bustling European Marketplace, West Market's vendors display their wares from carts, offering one-of-a-kind gifts, souvenirs, and keepsakes. More traditional shops line West Market, but even here, you're in for a pleasant and unique surprise.
