I have two cards from Washington. They are both of Mount St. Helens. In its lush setting, Mount St. Helens had remained dormant since 1857, until May 18, 1980. That day, one of the most destructive volcanis explosions recorded in North America occurred, propelling debris for hundreds of miles. Moutn St. Helens has been replenishing itself and countinually changing ever since.
