The Venetian Macau Resort-Hotel, opened on 28th August 2007, is a $2.4 billion U.S. investment. This combined complex of casino, luxury hotel and resort is the second largest in the world and the largest in Asia of the same kind. There are 3,000 suites, a large shopping centre as well as a convention and exhibition centre that can serve 50,000 guests at a time. At present, the Venetian Macau Casino is operating the biggest number of gaming tables in the world.
