I received two postcards from Washington D.C. the other day as part of a direct swap on Facebook. I have many postcards from Washington D.C., but these ones I do not have.
This first one depicts the WWII Memorial (that was just built a few years ago). The World War II Memorial, located on the National Mall commemorates the sacrifice and victory of the WWII generation. It creates a distinct, evocative and serene tribute yet remains respectful and sensitive to its historic surroundings.
This postcard depicts the two airports of Washington D.C.-Dulles Airport and Reagan National Airport.
