Missouri

Today I received a postcard from a 5 yr old in Missouri through postcrossing. It is of Ha Ha Tonka State Park. Originally a beautiful private estate Camden County, MO. Ha Ha Tonka Castle dominates the landscape. Building began in 1906 by Kansas City businessman Robert Snyder as a priavte retreat to rival European castles. Finished by children, the house burnt in 1942. The state of Missouri bought the property in 1978 and opened it as a state park.
