I received this card through a direct swap on Facebook.
Also known as "The Linc", it is the home stadium of Philadelphia's football team. Completed in 2003, it has a seating capacity of 68,532.
Send me a card :)
If anyone reading this blog would like to send me a postcard, I would love it. Email me to get my address at: ashdepo@yahoo.com
Touristy postcards that show me your country, or city, or something significant about where you live are my favorite. If you would like one back, email me your address and I will be glad to send you from Minnesota USA as well.

North Carolina
I received quite a few postcards about a week ago through a direct swap on Facebook.
The first one is of Mt. Mitchell, which rises 6,684 ft and is the highest peak east of the Mississippi River.
This next card tells how the nickname "Tar Heels" came to be.
This next card depicts the Ericsson Stadium in Charlotte, which is the home of the Carolina Panthers.
This next card depicts Pisgah National Forest. Unique plant communities and waterfalls are found in secluded areas of the Pisgah National Forest, which also offers a wide variety of recreational activities from mountain climbing to whitewater rafting.
This next card is of the Blue Ridge Parkway, which was designed for motor recreation and is administered by the National Park Service. The parkway traverses the Appalachian Mountain chain from the Shenandoah National Park in Virgina to the Great Smokies in North Carolina. Extending 469 miles, the parkway encompasses many different environments that embrace Mother Nature's finest creations.

Dover Downs International Speedway
I received this postcard through a direct swap on Facebook.
Hosting some of the world's top stock-car drivers, Dover Downs hosts the annual Budweiser 500 at the end of May and the PEAK Antifreeze 500 in late September. A race weekend typically draws 125,000 visitors, about four times Dover's usual population.

Whaleback Lighthouse
I received this postcard of the Whaleback Lighthouse in Portsmouth, NH through a direct swap on Facebook.
Minnesota
I received this first postcard through a direct swap on Facebook with someone who lives in Saint Cloud, Minnesota.
This next card is an Ad postcard that I got last year at the Minnesota State Fair, and that I just found in a bag in my closet while getting ready to go to the Minnesota State Fair tomorrow.

Missouri
Today I received a postcard from a 5 yr old in Missouri through postcrossing. It is of Ha Ha Tonka State Park. Originally a beautiful private estate Camden County, MO. Ha Ha Tonka Castle dominates the landscape. Building began in 1906 by Kansas City businessman Robert Snyder as a priavte retreat to rival European castles. Finished by children, the house burnt in 1942. The state of Missouri bought the property in 1978 and opened it as a state park.
