An idyllic fishing village sprawled on the banks of the Redang River on Redang Island, which is 27 km off the fishing village of Merang in Terengganu. The island is famous for its squid fishing and beautiful reefs.

West Grand Lake in Maine is a well-known fishing area that dumps into Maine's Grand Lake Stream. The lake provides great summer fishing for landlocked salmon and bass.
